In light of our Winterliners starting their week-long bootcamp with Startup Institute, we thought we'd highlight one of the most important realities from the startup world: Failure is the norm. Most startups, by a long shot, fail. And people love this story.
But that doesn't mean failure is a particularly good thing. You can't just keep failing and call yourself a success. However, having the right attitude toward it, and being able to learn from it can make all the difference in one day getting to that success, however defined.
It seems there is a secret to failing well. Just ask these 33 founders if they gave up when they had to face it.
In this beautiful Fleximize infographic, the careers of some of the most inspirational startup founders are charted over success and failure. They pivoted, they scrambled, they hustled -- and then they got back up again. That seems to be the key in all of it, and one of the most important ingredients we've made sure to nourish in our semester program titled Global Entrepreneurship & the Innovation of Business.
Best of luck to our students currently going through the Startup Institute Bootcamp, and may you keep on failing.. well.
